We've cracked open the local apricot stones this summer and produced this luxurious soap with them. Apricot kernel has high levels of both Vitamins A & E, which are great to promote healing and prevent skin damage from free radicals due to their anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties. We've produced a new essential oil blend we're calling 'spirit of apricot' which combines tangerine, palma rosa, lemongrass, patchouli and ylang ylang. It's a bit fruity, a bit floral, and a lot delicious, just like the apricot itself. Thanks to Augustines of Central for wanting to make use of the apricot stones which are a byproduct of their beautiful preserves.
